Newsletters are periodic notifications (usually twice a month but could be more or less) of changes or additions to the website, gay trivia, Bible facts, promotions or products on sale, and any significant news of interest to the gay Christian community.

Our Social Group allows you to communicate with others via a group email list serve. Everyone in the Group gets to read what you have to say. This is where we really get to know each other if you choose to participate. Start discussions, post photos, let people know when you're going to go to the chat rooms, ask for prayer, or just be a silent observer.
We range in age from 13 - 95. Most of us are Spirit-filled Christians, including many pastors, ex-nuns, archbishops, etc, but some of us are questioning our faith and finding out how to be comfortable as gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, intersex and transgender Christians. We also have many supportive "straight" members, some pagans, agnostics and people of other faiths. We are a diverse group of people with many varying beliefs. All are welcome at Christian Gays!
Christian Gays strictly regulates guidelines of
1) no sexually explicit conversation and
2) respect for ALL. Everyone is free to disagree with a post, but criticism must be confined to the issues, NOT of the person who posted.
We'd love to have you join our "family". I'm sure you'll feel comfortable, loved, and supported.

Chat Rooms
We would love for you to join us in the "Gay Chat" Rooms. See the link for Gay CHAT at the top of the page to get started.
We have Chat Rooms for Teens, Young Adults, Men Only, Women Only, Mature (possibly explicit), Hot Topics, and Bible Study, as well as our Main Chat Room.
The Chat Rooms are open all the time but most people connect in the evenings.
Regular Chat Night is scheduled for Saturdays.
Bible Study is currently on hold until there is more interest.
Women's Night is on Fridays in the Women Only Room.
Hot Topics is on Sundays in the Hot Topics Room.
All events except Hot Topics (which starts an hour earlier) take place at
6 pm Pacific Time
7 pm Mountain Time
8 pm Central Time
9 pm Eastern Time.
You are welcome to come into the Main Chat Rooms at any time. You will not disrupt the things that are going on in the other rooms.

This Room is not for the faint of heart or puritans. We will be discussing difficult subjects and how they relate to Scripture and our daily lives as people of faith. These discussions will be led by Christians who may present different sides of the issues.
Proper terminology will be used (no gutter language), and as always, respect for all posts will be enforced - i.e. You may present your own beliefs. You may NOT challenge anyone else's beliefs or attempt to prove that you are right. This is to be a learning experience, and we may not like some of the things we will hear, but we WILL respect the person who is courageous enough to post them.

Fraud Alerts & Dating Service Updates
It's a sad fact of life that we are often the target of scammers who will tell us that they are someone who they are not for the purpose of preying on us for money or favours.
It can sometimes take a month or two before they reveal themselves, but once that happens I am usually notified quickly. I then send out a "Fraud Alert" to all people who are subscribed to receive them. You will also be notified of any changes to the Dating Service.

HIV/AIDS Support
This group is specifically for those who are HIV+, their friends, family and any who have been affected by HIV.
We started this group several years ago at the request of one of our members but it has remained a small group which is not a very active. Perhaps you can change that and get it going, but you may also wish to consider joining our Social Group which is open to all.
We'd love to have your input regarding any EXCELLENT (non-copywritten) Articles or Links that we can put on the website to assist others.

Prison Ministry
We have many inmates (mostly lesbians) who are in need of spiritual support. They do not have access to computers.
If you are a solid Christian who would write (postal mail) to one or more of our inmates I would be so grateful! You do not need to commit to writing more than one letter, but every letter would be most appreciated by the inmate, and you will be blessed for your ministry to them.
