Prison Ministry

These ads are almost exclusively from women, with only the occasional one from a man. They are incarcerated and are looking for friends, penpals, Christian support and in some cases, long term relationships. Please note that some of the women are straight!

Please do not judge them for we have all made mistakes. You don't know their histories and most have come from tragic circumstances. I speak from personal experience when I say that "there but for the grace of God, go I".

Instead, remember Jesus' words that,

"When I was in prison, ye visited Me."   Matt 25:36

If you are secure as a gay Christian and would like to be a part of this Prison Ministry, please choose one or more inmates to write to with words of Christian support. They do not have access to computers so you will need to write using snail mail.

Note from Mary: While I ask you not to judge these people, I also ask you to remember that they are incarcerated for a reason, and that some may try to "use" you. Always be aware!

It is absolutely forbidden for you to send anything other than Christian support materials to them. NEVER, under any circumstances, send money!

If you receive a request, it is paramount that you notify me immediately so that the inmate can be removed from the website to avoid any future potential problems.

I am Baptist and believe in the Trinity. I've been born again for over 20 years. I've indulged in sexual sin acts such as prostitution, which I've been rescued from. I've back-slidden due to depression and addictive behaviours to pain killers. I love the Lord God with all my heart and soul. He is the only Husband I've had.

I taught youth before coming to prison. I sponsored a youth summer Bible Vacation Camp. I'm not able to bear any children, therefore I've always taken to youth, struggling to make a difference. When I'm released I'd like to get funding for adult and youth programs to teach about God and his will.

I was in the closet for many years. I thought something was wrong because I could not offer a man any enjoyment, yet I've learned I can abstain from sex and just bond with another woman in all areas besides sexual.

I'm open-minded, outgoing, God-fearing, upright and non-judgmental. I will use my prison experience as a stepping stone to a new life. I'm very family-oriented. My family and I are close. I'm the baby of eight. I've had a lot of issues to deal with and work through but I'm healed. I'm a survivor of sexual abuse and domoestic violence. I've battled with rejection because I didn't fit in with the girls and was too dominant for the boys. I hope someone out there is interested.
