Ian Bayly's Web - Sydney, Australia - "I owe my total allegiance to GOD and His unfailing Love towards me through Jesus The Lord."

Let me introduce myself:
I'm the only "Christian Elf"!
Every Christmas time, you know,
"Santa" has his special show.
Santa gets the "greatest glory" -
We must know another story.
Jesus is the one who came,
Christ gave us the Christmas name.
I once served Santa hour by hour -
Now I serve a greater power!
So, dear friend, don't think it's treason:
"Jesus is the reason for the season!"

Ian is happy to appear at church Christmas parties, church "Christmases in July", or even Christmas street stalls. Rates by negotiation. Visit his website for some good GLBT links.

Jen Austin - is a radio personality and motivational speaker, and the author of a forthcoming autobiography in which she chronicles her struggles with homosexuality as it relates to Christianity.

Jen grew up a Christian in rural Nebraska, relatively removed from relatable examples that would have made the issue of homosexuality relevant and real, so it took her until her early twenties to accept the fact that she was a lesbian, and several more years after that to reconcile this identity with her faith.

Now she helps others with similar struggles find peace, joy and contentment in the relationship between faith and sexuality, whether that is in the form of ideas about how to deal with nearly constant condemnation by the Christian right, how to maintain a positive self-image, or what to do with homophobia in general. Although the process of coming out as a gay Christian seems to be lifelong, Jen uses practical examples of faith and healing to serve as an inspiration on the journey.

Liberated Christians - is a website that I personally do not adhere to regarding some of their beliefs, but the website is jam-packed with Resources and it has always been my position that we should make information available, and then it is up to the individual to make the choices.

The purpose of this website is to share a large amount of research that they have accumulated and written over the years about The Bible & Sex, Responsible Nonmonogamy, Loving Intimacy, Swinging, Sex Education, AIDS, Sybian, Nudity, Tantra/Tao and other more controversial topics, such as homosexuality and abortion.

This website will not be for everyone, but I'm sure there are many who will enjoy exploring some new ideas.

Radical Christianity - contains the writings of Rev Dr Jerry Maneker - a straight man with a heart for GLBT's.

The website seeks to provide a refreshing, provocative forum for the civilized presentation of ideas that reflect Jesus' commandments to trust God over and above seen circumstances, and to love other people by never tiring of doing good, to liberate all those held captive by traditions that make void the Word of God (Matthew 15:3), as well as by all other religious and secular sources and forces. Christians must preach and proclaim the only Gospel to be found in Christianity: the Gospel of grace, faith, love, peace, reconciliation, and inclusiveness.

Richard Lydiard White - Christian Narratives, Devotionals, Writings

A very well constructed website from a man of many life experiences. He says:

"I have thoughts, inspiration from the Lord. I'm a thinker, often way out of the box, and will offer writings which some of you will love, while others of you will need to tighten your seat belts, but they will make you think about things you may not have considered ever before. That's a good thing, right?

I'm working on two books. The first book is almost completed and the second is not far behind. I don't want to fly away without making a difference."

Rollan McCleary - is an author of Irish and Australian nationality whose World First Gay Spirituality Doctorate, obtained through the Studies in Religion Department of Queensland University, Australia in 2003, caused national and international controversy on account of his actual and alleged claims. Actual claims included that in certain respects the gospels represent Gay Spirituality democratised for the masses. He has also been associated with various theories and suggestions that Jesus would today be considered a gay male.

Rollan answers questions about his writings such as:
- If you have said Jesus was "gay", what precisely did you mean by that?
- Did you claim that three of Jesus' disciples were gay?
- Are you maintaining Jesus was homosexual or really more bisexual?
- Can you honestly call yourself Christian and in what sense?
- Why not admit all you're doing is justifying a lifestyle (yours) and that
    gays lack ethics?

NOTE: ChristianGays.com does not necessarily endorse all views portrayed by this website. However, it does endorse the thought processes required to analyze the precepts proposed. ChristianGays.com believes that all education is valuable when processed in the light of Scripture.

Sidney Andrews - author of A Fall To New Heights

Sidney Andrew's memoir, "A Fall to New Heights" is a portrayal of love, identity and learning to live her authentic truth. In August of 1973 a stranger entered my life, inadvertently pushing me up a path to self-discovery. One year after meeting this woman my pristine life began to unravel and fall apart; not husband, children, family, or friends would be spared the fall out from this love that had crept in unawares.

One morning, in the blink of an eye, a metamorphosis took place. I found myself staring into the bathroom mirror, studying my face and searching my eyes, looking for the old familiar me that I knew so well. "Who the hell are you? Just who the hell are you?" I whispered, afraid of hearing my own voice. I was petrified and thought for sure I was losing my mind, because looking back at me was a perfect stranger.

It was a time of panic, painful choices and more questions than answers. How could I be gay? Why me? Why now? I had a marriage envied by most, three great kids, security, a beautiful home, and a man that loved me with a passion! "How could this happen to me," was my mantra for months.

Kate and I had a choice to be ruled by fear, guilt and trepidation, or embrace the love that had found us. Should we have sacrificed our love and passion for a life together, and crumbled under the pressure and demands of family, friends, and prayer partners, who insisted we 'do the right thing' and stay with our families. What would have taken more of a toll, to live a lie, or honor our truth?

Straight, Not Narrow - Straight people and GLBT people have two important things in common:

1) We are all God's children and
2) Christ is reaching out to ALL of us, as we are, to welcome us into fellowship with Him if we accept Him as Lord and Savior.

As a straight man, I never had a burning desire to attend a Gay Pride festival. It turns out, that was my loss. I recently participated in my first event of that type, helping out in a booth my church, Believers Covenant Fellowship, a non-denominational congregation that ministers to GLBT individuals, was running.

As I have found in the relatively short time I have been active in this fellowship, the more I open my mind and heart to new possibilities and opportunities, the more I am blessed.

Straight-Friendly - a daily devotional blog for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered people. The goal is to provide GLBT believers an on-line site that offers a daily passage of Scripture, followed by a five-to-six paragraph discussion that (hopefully) reflects many of their concerns.

The underlying concept is very basic. As followers of Jesus, we guide our lives by His commandment to love God with all our hearts, souls, and minds, and we love our neighbors as ourselves. For GLBT Christians, this urges us to extend our love and understanding even to those who deny our claim of faith or seek to exclude us from the Body of Christ. In other words, instead of waiting for the church-at-large to become gay-friendly, it is incumbent on us to become straight-friendly.
