This website is dedicated to the premise that...

As society is learning to accept gays based on basic human rights, this website supports homosexuality as an orientation based on Scripture alone.

It is our belief that the Original Scriptures, when understood in the correct context and culture of their time, make no mention of homosexuality. References to same-sex acts were with regard to rape, domination, idol worship, purity laws for the priests, etc. We condemn these acts as well, but recognize that they do not relate in any way to a loving, monogamous relationship between two people of the same sex.

Gays suffer much rejection. Gay Christians suffer especially so, wanting so much to be a part of the church they love, and yet being rejected just for who they are. Jesus always reached out to those who were rejected. Jesus reaches out to we gays today to tell us that we are loved, just as we were created.

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart."   ~ Jer. 1:5a

"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart."   ~ Jer.29:11-13

If you are wondering how it is possible to be both gay and Christian, it will take much reading and prayer on your part to understand the errors of contemporary teaching of Christianity and homosexuality, but God says:

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God,"   ~ Philippians 4:6 (NIV)

The answers are there for you to find. Do not shy away from the Bible. It is the Good News for ALL, but the "clobber verses" used against us have been grossly misinterpreted.

Read about each Scripture verse that seems to condemn us, but understood in a new light, really doesn't.

Who Are We And Why Do We Exist?

Christian Gays is a community for ALL, including LGGBTTIQQEU2AA (Lesbian, Gay, Genderqueer, Bisexual, Transgender, Transsexual, Intersex, Queer, Questioning, Eunuch, Undecided, 2-Spirited, Asexual, and Allied), and while we are absolutely Christian-based, we also believe strongly in Christ's acceptance and support of all, so you will find information and support here for faiths other than Christianity. We range in age from 13 - 96.

We exist to provide a SAFE (non-sexual) place to connect with others, and to provide Resources and Support.

I was welcomed, loved, supported and understood

It was just last week that I found myself back in a familiar hole. Having split with my partner of 3 years I was at a really low point in my life. Cravings for alcohol had returned, my partner had left me, and I couldn't see any point in going on. I turned to the internet for inspiration on how to end my life. As I was scrolling through the search results I came across this site and was curious. I had convinced myself that I had been wrong all this time, I couldn't be a Christian if I was Gay, so a website specifically for Gay Christians? It couldn't be. I had to check it out!! So I did, but I didn't find the judgement that I was used to receiving from "Christians". I was welcomed, loved, supported and understood.

I thank God for this website and the fellowship I have found here. I honestly believe that God has used this site to save my life.

I still have a way to go, but I'm here. With the help of members from this site I now have fellowship, trans-atlantic Bible Study, global prayer, and I'm looking for a Gay-friendly church in my area. I have placed myself at the feet of our Merciful Father, and He has welcomed this prodical daughter back with open arms!

PRAISE GOD FOR HIS MERCY AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! Thank you Lord for leading me to this site. Thank you for the people I have met here, and the friendship and support they have offered and given. A New Family Is Created

Hello Momma Mary,

I don't know if you remember me, but I was a part of Christian Gays about five years ago when I lived in Kitchener. Once upon a time in your chat room, I met Scott and Kelly. Scott and I have since adopted each other as brother and sister, and Kelly, well, she and I have been together for the last five years, got married last year, and had a baby this past May along with her two other children.

We thank you for your vision of Christian Gays for bringing us together and we have never been happier. So thank you in your part in bringing this family together.

I Found My Soul Mate

I found your websight one night, while racking my brain, thinking of the perfect match. I said to myself, "Self. You have to find yourself a Christian gay man that cannot only identify with these two unchangable aspects of our lives, but celibrate it as well!"

Though I didn't find Ryan on ChristianGays.com, I was strengthened by Mary and all the other wonderful Christians, looking for love.

In my profile I stated first and foremost that I was Christian and then gay, just like the website says ChristianGays.com. I believe in the Bible. Truths really, not just stories, of redemption, perseverance and love. All things which can be translated into the fight for the gay rights movement.

As Ryan and I were getting to know each other, we went over our list of what we expected and wanted in a relationship. I said something that has resonated throughout our relationship. I said, "Why would I want to spend my entire life dedicated to someone that I wouldn't spend the rest of eternity with?"

With God's grace, I have found my soulmate. So to Mary, and all the gay and lesbian people on ChristianGays.com I have one thing to say.

He believes in you. He has great things in store for you, if you only give him control. God's grace is for all people. God's love is for all people. Gay, straight, bisexual, transgendered. Have faith in God, and he will find you your "Christian Gay" soulmate too.
