My partner Carol and I will celebrate 3 years of marriage in November of 2008, thanks to ChristianGays.com! I was reluctant to post an "ad" on CG.com due to both skepticism that it would really generate any results and fear of being "outed".
Mary Pearson was so helpful at keeping the post anonymous, yet with enough information to generate matches. I received several responses from many nice people, and of course one from my eventual life partner! Even though we lived thousands of miles apart when we met, God has brought us together. As the Author of our relationship, God used CG.com as the tool to enable me to meet the Godly woman who is now my wife.

Gays suffer much rejection. Gay Christians suffer especially so, wanting so much to be a part of the church they love, and yet being rejected just for who they are. Jesus always reached out to those who were rejected. Jesus reaches out to we gays today to tell us that we are loved, just as we were created.

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart."  Jer. 1:5a

"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart."    Jer.29:11-13

If you are wondering how it is possible to be both gay and Christian, it will take much reading and prayer on your part to understand the errors of contemporary teaching of Christianity and homosexuality, but God says:

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God," Philippians 4:6 (NIV)

The answers are there for you to find. Do not shy away from the Bible. It is the Good News for ALL, but the "clobber verses" used against us have been grossly misinterpreted, and taken out of context and culture of their day.

Search the Education links. Read the Articles. Learn the TRUTH of God's Holy inerrant Word. Search Scripture and allow your mind to grasp the Truth of the Original Scriptures, not the Translations. From One of Our Family

It was just last week that I found myself back in a familiar hole. Having split with my partner of 3 years I was at a really low point in my life. Cravings for alcohol had returned, my partner had left me, and I couldn't see any point in going on. I turned to the internet for inspiration on how to end my life. As I was scrolling through the search results I came across this site and was curious. I had convinced myself that I had been wrong all this time, I couldn't be a Christian if I was Gay, so a website specifically for Gay Christians? It couldn't be. I had to check it out!! So I did, but I didn't find the judgement that I was used to receiving from "Christians". I was welcomed, loved, supported and understood.

I thank God for this website and the fellowship I have found here. I honestly believe that God has used this site to save my life.

I still have a way to go, but I'm here. With the help of members from this site I now have fellowship, trans-atlantic Bible Study, global prayer, and I'm looking for a Gay-friendly church in my area. I have placed myself at the feet of our Merciful Father, and He has welcomed this prodical daughter back with open arms!

PRAISE GOD FOR HIS MERCY AND UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! Thank you Lord for leading me to this site. Thank you for the people I have met here, and the friendship and support they have offered and given. You know who they are Lord and so do they. Pour out your blessings on them Father as you have blessed me through them, and draw them even closer to you. In Jesus name, Amen.
