Gay Christian Bible Studies

We have two Bible Study groups. One is in the Chat Rooms on Sunday nights at 9 pm Eastern time, and the other is via an Email List Serve where all people in the group get to read and respond to your letters. We hope you'll become a part of one or both groups.

EMAIL BIBLE STUDY

This group is solely for the discussion of Scripture. It is not a social group.

Of course you are welcome to join both Groups (Bible Study and Social Group).

The Bible Study Email Group is based on the Sunday night Chat Bible Studies, but is open to the discussion of any Scripture. If you wish to discuss and study Scripture in a group email setting, please go to Bible Study Email Group to subscribe.

We are currently studying the "clobber verses" used against gays in the Bible Study Chat Room under the leadership of Rev John Brown. His Study Notes will be posted each week on his blogging page.



CHAT ROOM BIBLE STUDY

Please meet us on Sunday nights at 6 pm Pacific Time (9 pm ET).

All are welcome.

When you enter the Chat rooms you will be in "ChristianGays.com Chat Room 1".

To get into Bible Study you will need to go to the top of the page to the drop down menu beside the word "Room".

Select the arrow to the right of "ChristianGays.com Chat Room 1" and change it to "Bible Study Sun 6 pm PT (9 pm ET)".

Now you are in the Bible Study room.

We invite people to arrive on the hour, and will allow 15 minutes for greetings and chat. Bible study will start at quarter after the hour with prayer requests and an opening prayer before getting into the Study.

If you arrive after quarter after, please act just as if you arrived late to church and be respectful of the prayer and of the teaching. But please come in even if you are late because we would still love to have you join us!

Please have pencil and paper handy to jot down questions that will be addressed after the teaching is finished.

We will try to keep the study to one hour. After the study is over, we will take your questions, and then will close in prayer.

Fellowship can continue in the main chat room after Bible Study.
